In the following a selection of our customers:

AMD

AMD logo

The MATcalc team supports one of the prominent chip manufacturers at the location Dresden within the range of the integration of new materials into its products. We work in each case in the context of publicly funded research grants.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft logo

In the context of research projects of Volkswagen AG the AQcomputare GmbH (division MATcalc) successfully examined partial aspects. The core competency of the AQcomputare GmbH (division MATcalc) lies in the range of the computation of material properties. In particular with physical methods on atomic scale material properties were determined. With the help of these methods connection phenomena of high adhesive materials in contact with different surfaces could be determined. The investigation of the interatomic behavior of new materials shows impressive the quality of modern materials development accompanies.

GLOBALFOUNDRIES

GLOBALFOUNDRIES is the world's first full-service semiconductor foundry with a truly global manufacturing and technology footprint. Launched in March 2009 through a partnership between AMD and the Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC), GLOBALFOUNDRIES provides a unique combination of advanced technology, manufacturing excellence and global operations.
Within different research projects we could help the GLOBALFOUNDRIES site in Dresden with their R&D aims.

Freiberg Compound Materials

Freiberg Compound Materials Logo

Freiberger Compound Materials GmbH is a worldwide leader in compound semiconductor substrates. Freiberger has established an outstanding reputation as the sole supplier to offer both VGF (Vertical Gradient Freeze) and LEC (Liquid Encapsulated Czochralski) material and is well known for its use of very efficient and highly automated production techniques - from synthesis and monocrystalline growth to wafer polishing and cleaning.
We are very proud to help this customer with leading edge simulations of further production technics and new wafer materials.

GWT

GWT Logo

The GWT is a service company for transfer of technology and knowledge, which are active at the interface between public research establishments of the Free State Saxonia, in particular the technical University of Dresden and the university clinic Dresden, as well as the industry.

For the GWT we carry various research tasks out regularly apart from the supply of computer cluster resources in particular in the material computation for industrial enterprises.

BASF

BASF SE is the largest chemical producer in the world and is headquartered in Ludwigshafen, Germany. We are very proud to support their R&D process with large scale atomistic simulations.
