The Techonologie Centrum Chemnitz (TCC), celebrates its 20th anniversary.
... and 1.500 generated jobs within the last 20 years.
On the 9th of December 2010 the Technology Centrum Chemnitz celebrated together with 160 guests from politics, university and business its 20.th anniversary with a reception. The association was founded because of the political transformation in the year 1990 on the initiative of the city Chemnitz, the Chemnitz University of Technology and the chambers of commerce and industry southwest Saxony within the decisively support of the IHK Aachen and the technology center Aachen.
In the recent years the two existing locations of the TCC accompanied over 180 technology-orientated business formations, which includes 1500 generated jobs. The 1500th employee of a TCC located company was the aged 28 alumna of the Chemnitz University of Technology Lydia Schmidt. She was welcomed by the governing mayor of Chemnitz Berthold Brehm. Since the 1st of October Lydia Schmidt is as a project assistant entrusted in marketing activities for the technology company AQcomputare GmbH.
